About the book
hungry waters is Precious Chiebonam Nnebedum’s second poetry collection, following birthmarks (Haymon Verlag, 2022).
It reaches readers first through live readings, the way her poems have always travelled: from the stage to the page and back. It premieres with a reading and performance at black print in Innsbruck, is published on 29 October, and is followed by a UK launch at Lesnes Abbey Lodge in London on 14 November and a reading at Literaturhaus Graz on 9 December.
